The Touchstone Sideline® 36 inch electric fireplace heater is a smaller version of the popular 50-inch Sideline®. Customers frequently inquire about finding a version in a size that matches their decor or room size because the Sideline® series has become so popular. The Sideline® 36 electric fireplace insert is a ventless fireplace, with heat delivered through a vent on the face of the fireplace. The Sideline® 36, like all TouchstoneTM fireplaces, has the most realistic flame available in an electric smokeless fireplace, and all your friends will be hesitant to put their hands up to the glass face.
Other built in electric fireplaces can't compare to the built-in look and ambiance of the Sideline® 36, which is ideal for smaller walls. You'll have the look of a real fireplace built right into your wall with no muss and no fuss. The Sideline® 36 wall mounted fireplace has 5 flame settings with 3 colors and 2 heat settings, and it can be used without the heat, so it can be used on a warm summer evening or on the coldest winter nights.

Yes, it does heat your room
The Sideline® 36 recessed electric fireplace not only looks great, but it also helps to heat your space. We don't recommend using the Sideline® 36 as your primary source of heat, but it can help heat a room up to 400 square feet with a 5000 BTU heater. It's ideal for taking the chill off a chilly autumn evening or adding a little extra warmth to your room on a chilly winter night. The Sideline® 36 can, of course, be used without the heat but with the electric fireplace turned on. You make the decision, and the Sideline® 36 wall-mounted fireplace makes it simple.

Mounting and Use
The Sideline® 36 electric fireplace for living room or bedroom is intended for recessed installation, but it can also be hung on the wall. The fireplace comes with mounting and installation instructions, and we recommend that you follow them carefully. Because of its heating feature, we recommend mounting your Sideline® 36 at least 20" below your ceiling or 8" below your mounted flat screen TV.

Freight Shipments ship via Freight Curbside delivery. In other words, the shipping carrier will drop off your item on your property not inside your home. We have a THOR oven that we now need to return .. physically ourselves.. unhook the gas load in a truck we need to rent ...pay a restocking fee.... After 4 months and more then 6 SEARS repair appointments . SEARS cancelled.. last minute 3 times ..lost work.. horrible experience with THOR.
